Non-DEFECTIVE

No returns will be accepted without prior authorization. Product must be examined to assure that there are no missing parts, breakage or scratches to the merchandise.  All non-defective material must be in its original manufacturer’s packaging, in the original oversized packaging and in 100% saleable condition for credit to be issued. Non-defective material must be returned within six months from invoice date for credit to be given. When the product is received here at our warehouse, the item(s) will receive inspection and, if compliant with TDP’s policies, credit will be issued. If the product does not meet the set requirements, no credit will be given. All non-damaged and non-defective returns are subject to a 20% handling & restocking fee. 
All requests must include the following information: 

  • Invoice number or Purchase Order number
  • Product stock number & quantity
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for return

Defective

If any product is received by the customer, from The Distribution Point, damaged during shipping or missing part(s):  

  • The Distribution Point must be notified within 3 days after receipt of material for freight claim to be issued.
  • All concealed breakage, damages, loss and shortages will be filed with the freight company involved.
  • Credit will be issued upon receipt of reimbursement from shipper’s insurance.

Warranties are limited to the warranty given by the manufacturer, and in no event will The Distribution Point be responsible for installation or labor charges.
